Last Call for Miracle Theater and for Joseph

Both "The Miracle" and "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" are closing in October. Ownership has not changed; they're just changing course.

The reopening is set for November 7th (in time for the holiday season) as "The Smoky Mountain Opry." The first show will be called "Christmas At The Opry." So, here's the chance to still be able to see a big Christmas show when you visit the Smoky Mountains. The biggest one used to be The Black Bear Jamboree, but you know that's history, too. Renovations are going strong over there as they transform the formerly brick building into the "Hatfields and McCoys."

Just a few of the many new shows and attractions planned all over the county!

So, what's happening to the incredibly popular Miracle? Not sure quite yet, but it looks like they might be touring, and ultimately land in a Christian-based theme park. We'll let you know what else we hear.
