IT'S THE SECOND HALF OF JANUARY! 

And that means it's nearly February.

And that means it's time to make plans for Valentine's Day.

So for those planning BIG and who want to bring your special someone along with your special friends and THEIR special someones to a Luxury Cabin overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains, here are some ideas to round out the weekend:

The weather that weekend can vary a lot. So if it's on the warmer side, try a hike in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The Greenbrier entrance is close to our Lodge. (Romantic picnic, anyone?)

The center of downtown Gatlinburg is another option, especially for those who prefer pavement to trails. Lot's of stores and restaurants and fun places to stop, like mini-golf or Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, or Ripley's Museum. Or how about a tram, or aerial tramway ride up to Ober Gatlinburg, a 4-season resort: Ski, Skate, Tube, Board...

How about a show? It looks like Dixie Stampede is going strong that weekend, and so is The Murder Mystery Show, just to mention a couple. The Grand Resort is hosting 2 concerts, one Friday evening and one Saturday, featuring Richie McDonald, Andy Griggs and Bryan White.
